About Me
I’m Patrick Chirdon. I grew up in Mentor, Ohio, 30 minutes east of Cleveland. I recently turned 32.
- My original goal was to become a biomedical researcher but decided to go to medical school for more clinical endeavors.
- I later ended up with a master’s in biomedical engineering and went into software.

Programming at Case Western
- In college at Case, I majored in biology and had a minor in linguistics/cognitive science.
- I had a class in R where we analyzed wetland data and predicted water levels as a group project. We used geospatial data and simulated the water levels when the dam was in place vs. when it was not.
- I also took a dynamics of biological sciences in which we simulated the movement of an insect in mathematica when it had one of its legs removed
- I also had a class in SPSS

Fulbright Scholarship 2012–2013
